I'm Mide. Mom of two, a wife, and the person behind every cake that leaves this studio.

I started making cakes in 2018 for family and friends. What started as birthday cakes became something I couldn't stop building. I wanted to make cakes that looked like they belonged in a magazine but tasted like someone who actually cared made them.


I trained in Paris at Le Cordon Bleu and L'Atelier Pâtissier, studying how buttercream and fondant should really be handled. That experience changed the way I approach every order. Swiss Meringue Buttercream became our standard. Not an upgrade, not a premium option. The standard.

Today, The Sweet Layers Factory is a boutique cake studio based at Grand Central Park in Conroe, serving The Woodlands, Spring and Greater Houston. Every cake is made fresh from scratch in our certified studio. We do weddings, birthdays, same-day orders, custom designs, and everything in between.

We are small on purpose. That means your cake gets the attention it deserves, whether it is a five-tier wedding centerpiece or a last-minute birthday order you need by tomorrow.
